New Photo of Dutch Fishermen's Sweater

Taken fresh this morning, here's the latest on the sweater I'm knitting.

I watched "The Butterfly Effect" 1 & 2 while knitting last night.  Number 2 is nothing great, but the first one is very interesting.  Not a happy story, but as something of a SciFi/Drama it is a bit of a mind bender to think back on and wonder what's all going on.

  1. Look'n great; You know I need a sweater -- one that zips or buttons all the way on the front. hint, hint.

  2. Excellent! I'd love to knit you something. What I need from you are just a few measurements.

Here's what you do, grab the sweater that you think fits you best, lay it flat on the ground and take the following measurements:
    -across the chest
    -top to bottom
-from armpit to the end of the sleeve.
-(optional) across the "head hole" if you like a particular fit around the neck.

After that, there are a few choices to make concerning personal preferences:
-how warm do you want it to be?
-how soft does the yarn need to be? (will you be wearing it against the skin, or over another shirt?)
    -colour preferences
-finally the pattern. Something simple, or maybe a particular motif/design. Do you want a hood or pockets?
