Angelia's Scarf

So for those of you who are knitters, you probably know the Yarn Harlot. The Yarn Harlot is cycling from Toronto to Montreal for the 15th Annual Friends For Life Bike Rally in support of Toronto People With AIDS Foundation.Anyhow, if you donate to her or her team you win a prize and I volunteered to make one of those prizes; a custom handwoven scarf!

The winner was Angelia (CONGRATS!) and after a round of colour/style questions and several different options, we chose her this lovely colour combination:

Then I set up my Krompski loom and warped up the bottom skein (sorry for the poor lighting)....

And began to weave!

I think it is quite lovely (if I do say so myself), and evokes the dappled forest tones we were going for!

 I hope she likes it!

A few squash flowers open!

Some lovely berries (strawberries and blackberries)

And some fruit and veggies (tomatoes, green peppers, a baby squash, and some "basket of fire" hot peppers!)
